Welcome to Sharpe Thinking

Finding the path to fulfillment and happiness means learning how to control our bahaviour, rather than letting it control us. A clear, sharp, productive and creative mind leads to flourishing, success and happiness. The brain fog, low self esteem, depression, emotional numbness or volatility that accompany addiction, leave people languishing at work, at home and in relationships.

In the past two years scientific studies have  shown that the brain can develop changes characteristic of compulsion and addiction in response to behaviours as well as to substances like alcohol, drugs and nicotine. That means that gambling, internet video gaming, internet pornography, compulsive eating of high calorie food (fat, sugar and salt) can produce the changes to the brain that are characteristic of addiction.

The often free, 24/7 access to what seems like endless fun and shock value of the Internet, comes with a hidden price tag. The long-lasting effects of these addictions on the brain function and social development, of adolescents especially,  should be of particular concern to parents, teachers, health care professionals and the criminal justice system.

Sharpe Thinking provides a variety of interactive workshops, seminars and one-to-one sessions based on the latest research into optimal brain function to deal with these modern day challenges.

Learn :

  • what creates optimal brain function
  • what are the neurochemical and psychological bases of addiction
  • how to ease addiction
  • increase our reserves of mental and physical energy
  • enhance confidence
  • improve powers of concentration
  • sharpen memory
  • develop relationships with others and the ability to influence

The result will be regeneration on many levels.
